A Disciple’s Path
Transitioning Corporate Inertia into Congregational Vitality
APRIL 30, 2016
Charlton City UMC
This workshop will engage clergy and lay leadership in exploring strategies that have helped other congregations move from corporate inertia to spiritual and missional vitality in a rapidly changing world. Leaders will explore questions such as:
- How can we use our past to energize our future?
- What difference does our Wesleyan theological and spiritual tradition make in the way we serve our community?
- How can our congregation live into the mission of “making disciples for the transformation of the world?
- What kind of leadership does our congregation need today?
- How can the United Methodist “connection” help our congregation fulfill its mission?
Each participating congregation will receive a Program Kit for “A Disciple’s Heart: Growing in Love and Grace. ” The kit contains a Daily Workbook, Companion Reader, and Leader Guide with Downloadable Toolkit.
